holy grail-akshaypatra

In Christianity, In Buddhism and in Hinduism as well as in folk lore’s there are narrations of a pot which would be filled by food it’s self and satisfy large number of people. The myth of Holy Grail is very popular and most talked matter where as the similar myths of Hinduism and Buddhism are talked often. The folk lore of Kheer Pak tauli (the pudding cooking pot) is very popular among children tales where the wish fulfilling pot gives tasty pudding when order is given.
The Holy Grail is a vessel used by Jesus Christ at the last supper. It was later given to his grand uncle St. Joseph of Arimathea. Latter the blood of Jesus Christ. Latter when Joseph was imprisoned without giving food he used the grail for fresh food and drink. It is believed that the Grail was kept in a Great castle of Corbenic but the unfortunate thing is the centuries latter the location of Castle is forgotten.
There is a pot in Hinduism Given by sun God to Drapaudi Devi called Aksavapatra. This pot would never be empty until Draupadi had taken her meal and turned the pot upside-down which would produce no more for that day. One day the sage Durvasa came with his followers after the pot was made upside down. Draupadi had to feed the party otherwise they would curse Pandavas so in full of anxiety she prayed to Lord Krishna for help. Lord Sri Krishna then told Draupadi that if there was a morsel of food left he would be satisfied if that was offered by Draupadi to him. Seeing a fragment of rice stuck to the side of the pot, Sri Krishna asked for it, Draupadi offered it to Sri Krishna, and simply by eating that morsel of foodstuffs, all of Rishi Durvasas’ men and Durvasa himself became completely full and satisfied, and out of embarrassment slipped away and didn’t come to demand a meal from Draupadi as the Duryodhana had arranged for them to do.
In Mahayana Buddhism there is belief that there was Kalyanmitra Pravuta a bodhisattwa who had wish fulfilling pot who used to donate food from that wish full cooking pot; the pot would never come empty.
There are many tales related to wish fulfilling pot. The Christian world is very curious finding the Holy Grail but in Hindu and Buddhist world there are no searching missions of that age old lost heritage if it was true. If it is true and if can be discovered, it would definitely help fight the modern world food demand problem.
