CIRCUMCISION, TANTRA SEX FOR RAISING KUNDALINI - CAPT AJIT VADAKAYIL

IMMOrAL METZITZAH B PEH,  PHIMOSIS,  FRENULUMVATSYAYANA AND KAMA SUTRA,  G SPOT ,  PORN INDUSTY PREFERENCE,  LYMPH FLOW , DR SPOCK AND MASTERS & JOHNSON –  CAPT AJIT VADAKAYIL

First see the video below.
Girls less than 15 years old are NOT permitted to see it.

I am uncircumcised and so are my two sons.  So I know what I am talking about.

--unlike the Catholic priests who give marriage counseling in India.  Some of them are gay and has never touched a woman—yet he is authorized to give sermons on happy married life.

Jews and Muslims circumcise their male children.

Circumcision is NOT required as per the holy book of Koran.

In the Victorian age doctors recommended that boys should be circumcised as this would make it more difficult to masturbate.

To prevent the girl from masturbating they slice off the clitoris in Muslim countries.  So the poor girl has a nursery – never a play pen.  Such a mutilated girl will NOT even lubricate during intercourse.

This when coupled with a circumsized penis ,without a naturally moist and lubricated glans , will cause extremely painful intercourse.

The Jews were persecuted all over the world except in India.  70 countries kicked them out over time, due to their inherent greed to make easy money and due to extreme clannishness , propelled by the hardcore Talmud.

Yet in India , Kerala , more precise the King of Calicut my hometown , gave them  refuge. They left after Israel was formed . There are still a dozen of them taking care of the Jewish Synagogue at Kochi.

Why did they come rushing to Calicut which is far away from Jerusalem?

Pray?

All because of a effin' foreskin.

Roman Emperor Hadrian did NOT like Rabbis sucking on bleeding penises –and he banned this immoral practice.

Bar Kohkba , a Jewish leader made it an ego issue.  And his clan paid the price.

To be frank, I did NOT know too much on this subject as I never played “doctor doctor”  with boys.  When I was in UKG,  I had two small angelic girls aged 6 sitting on either side of me in class competing with each other to fondle my willy through my uniform shorts .

And I was a confused good looking 5 year old.   So one day I peed involuntarily on one of them (her name was Meenakshi ) and that gave me some relief --  insurance policy .

TIME OUT !

TEE HEEEEE !!

It was much later on when I went to Mumbai to join a Merchant Marine Officer Cadet training ship that I really saw what a circumcised willy would look like.

Twice a day I took a shower totally nude, with 250 fellow Officer Cadets .

And some of them were circumcised.  There were NO door or shower curtains at the heads ( wash room hall).

TS Dufferin ( a first world war British troop carrier ) did NOT even have doors or curtains for the shit pots.   There would be a queue keeping a beady eye on every inch of your progress.

Video below: Cadets never wore underwear while taking bath --  that is just being decent for the camera -- as there would be female public viewers on TV.  We dont want the genteel ladies to cream , right?

If the turd did NOT fall for more than a minute , the ones holding their crap would holler at you to get the hell out,  so that someone else can squat.

You see, Atlas was so strong that he could hold the whole planet on his shoulders.  But he could never hold his own crap.

So what is the heaviest thing around?  TEE HEEEEE !

Digression:
R.I.M.S  Dufferin was taken over in Bombay by the British Government of India on 2lst February 1905.  On 5th December 1927 it took in the first batch of Cadets.  Those days passed out cadets were inducted into the fighting Navy too.

Above:  Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru inspecting the ship.

The first Indian Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Ramdas Katari  appointed in 1958 was an ex-cadet of the 1927 batch of Training Ship Dufferin.

We used to do boat rowing so frequently that my palm skin was like leather.   Holy stoning, or rubbing decks with a stone infused with  sea water and sand made it even tougher.

In days of yore when  a band of drunken soldiers met a band of drunken sailors in a dark narrow alley, there was never a  doubt, who would scoot,  with their tails between their legs.

I have put a post on this subject, which will be very interesting.

A MARRIAGE SANS FIGHTS  VADAKAYIL

God has NOT given us any unwanted parts.   This includes the foreskin.

Medical scientists believe that the human appendix is unnecessary .   This just shows how perceptive these morons are.

Punch into Google search-
THE HUMAN APPENDIX, THE MISUNDERSTOOD ORGAN  VADAKAYIL

Same way the medical community under siege from Jewish monopolized awards houses and media have for long said that the penis foreskin is unnecessary.   Show how little these imbeciles , with zilch perception,  know.

They cry from rooftops that circumcision is desirable because it promotes cleanliness and prevents disease.  As a proud  owner of an intact penis, I can confidently say that my cleaning habits  are more than sufficient to get the apparatus clean as a whistle.

I will NOT advise any parents to chop off the arms of their babies so that they can clean the armpits better.

We do NOT live in the desert.  We shower daily.   It is so easy to clean the glans pocket while taking a shower—or even after a pee using the faucet pipe..

The women also have a pocket down below , right?  Does it justify that they remove the outer vulva ?

The loudest proponents of this "circumcision is good" argument are circumcised men themselves, who had zilch say when their parents chopped off their foreskins when they did NOT know how to protest.

It is extremely painful, as anesthesia cannot be used on new born babies.  Circumcision is undoubtedly no picnic in the sunny park for the poor baby.  If the penis gets infected the baby is traumatized for life.

One Jewish woman even moaned that having sex with a uncircumcised man feels as though he is having sex inside his own foreskin instead of inside of her — and love was missing.

SNIFF !   BOO HOOOOO  !!!.

Never marry warped females like this. One day she will run away with all your money.

The foreskin’s anatomical function is myriad.  One important function is protecting the glans the way the eyelid protects the eye.

In the absence of a foreskin, the glans becomes keratinized from rubbing against clothing and is much less sensitive.   The foreskin protects the penis head from drying out and from the abrasive effects of clothing, in much the same way that a woman’s vulval lips protect the female’s sexual parts.

Another important function that the foreskin provides a pleasurable feeling while  gliding sheath over the shaft, reducing loss of lubrication and decreasing the friction that can decrease pleasure for both partners .

When the penis enters the vagina, the foreskin is pulled back. And on its way out again, the foreskin goes back to cover the penis head. This way the foreskin stimulates both the man and the woman.

In infants the foreskin is adhered to the glans, like a fingernail, and so before it is cut off, it must be separated. One can imagine this is extremely painful and leaves the glans exposed before it is mature enough for the foreskin to separate on its own, usually during early childhood.

Childless barren couples are the first to cry from the roof tops that they are DINKS and so lucky and proud about it.

By the way DINK means – double income no kids.

They will never acknowledge that since man came on this planet, there has been an unbroken line, the reason why they exist . And when they die their blood lineage is broken for ever.

Oh yeah — a tattu guy shooting blanks into a barren woman-- we believe you are proud of yourself..

At the end of the day, if you decline to circumcise your son, he always has the option to do so himself later in life.  But if you consent to the procedure, everyone’s hands are tied. There is no way to fully restore the valuable thing that has been lost.

The inner layer of the foreskin has glands that create a substance called smegma,  Uncircumcised men must regularly clean the pouch under their foreskin to prevent this build-up. Otherwise they may get “balanoposthitis (inflammation of the foreskin ). Balanoposthitis should not be allowed to become chronic as then it will leave non-elastic scar tissue..

Potential complications of the disease are the development of phimosis (inability to coat the drag over the skin) and paraphimosis (brim of the skin tightened behind the glans, followed by swelling). Topical antibiotics like metronidazole cream and antifungals clotrimazole cream or low-potency steroid creams are suggested beneficial for this disease. Since anaerobic conditions are necessary for growth of the offending organisms, simple exposure to air and local cleansing is most often effective.

Same way if you do NOT brush your teeth, you teeth will get spoilt. That does NOT mean you must cut off your lips at birth.

The porno industry like Hollywood is controlled by Jews.

If you want to be a male stud  to service a vulgar woman like Sunny Leone who has a Jewish husband ) you must be circumcised-- for oral sex is part of this .

Now all the Brits are wondering if the new born prince will be circumcised. Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, France , Germany, Italy and Britain once circumcised their boys, but have ceased the practice.

In USA circumcision ( leave out the Jews ) has become half over the past 3 years.  The reason is in USA every year on an average 113 babies die  from circumcision-related infection.

If 20 or 30 babies died because of a product, that product would be recalled.

Why do we recall things that cause lower numbers of death but keep a surgery that causes deaths annually? Deaths that could have easily of been avoided if not for the surgery?

What a great fall from the seventies when more than 90% of American-born males were circumcised.  Routine infant circumcision for nonreligious reasons is not practiced in first-world countries except the United States.

It is done in USA because the Jews control the media and peer reviewed books and magazines.  Circumcision features prominently in the Hebrew Bible.

The narrative in Genesis chapter 17 describes the circumcision of Abraham and his relatives and slaves, making him the first named individual to undergo the procedure. In the same chapter, Abraham's descendants are commanded to circumcise their sons on the eighth day of life.

Jewish view of circumcision as intended to be not just the fulfillment of a Biblical commandment but also an essential and permanent mark of membership in a people. Jewish circumcision is part of the brit milah ritual, to be performed by a specialist ritual circumciser (a mohel) on the eighth day of a newborn son's life (with certain exceptions for poor health).

Jewish law requires that the circumcision leave the glans bare when the penis is flaccid. Circumcision is not required by Judaism for one to be considered Jewish, but adherents foresee serious negative spiritual consequences if it is neglected.

Most doctors in USA do NOT circumcise their own sons.

Dr. Spock, in his most recent book, stated, “I feel that there’s no solid medical evidence at this time to support routine circumcision,” and recommends “leaving the foreskin the way Nature meant it to be.”

Not a single medical organization recommends infant circumcision in the world.  In some First world countries, it is even illegal to do male circumcision on an infant unless it is medically necessary.

Very few males choose circumcision. Almost all  have it inflicted on them at  birth.

The Royal Dutch Medical Association, which expresses the strongest opposition to routine neonatal circumcision, does not call for the practice to be made illegal out of their concern that parents who insist on the procedure would turn to poorly trained quack practitioners instead of medical professionals.

OUR ANCIENT VEDIC SEERS AND MAHARISHIS DID NOT ADVOCATE CIRCUMCISION --  AND FOR HINDUS LIKE ME , THIS IS GOOD ENOUGH.

The human arteries are like a two-lane highway bringing nutrients, oxygen and fluid to the body part. The vein is a one-lane highway taking away the used blood, and the lymphatic channels are the other one-lane highway draining away the lymph fluid.

Two lanes in together, but two out lanes separate out. Blood is responsible for collecting and distributing oxygen, nutrients and hormones to the entire body where lymph is responsible for collecting and removing waste products left behind in the tissues. Plasma leaks out of the capillaries to surround and bathe the body tissues. This then drains into the lymph vessels.

So colourless lymph is essentially recycled blood plasma.  The foreskin of the penis contains lymphatic vessels, which are necessary for proper lymph flow and immunological functioning

All right, let me jump to sex, to make this YUCK subject a little more interesting.
A yank once told me that he want to come to India to learn Tantra sex to raise his Kundalini.
So I asked him. “Are you circumcised?”
He replied “ What has circumcision got to do with it?”
Says I “ Everything!!”

So he tried to show me his terrific knowledge about sex. He started talking about G spot.
So I asked him “ Do you know what is the full form of G ?”
He was stumped.
So here we are.

G spot was stolen from Indian Tantra texts by a German Jew by the name of Ernst Gräfenberg. The texts were provided to him by Rothschild , the German Jew owner of British East india company who ruled India.

The G spot is a rippled tissue located just behind the front wall of the vagina (towards the belly), about two inches inside.  The G spot is short for Grafenberg or, in Tantric circles, for Goddess.

Stroking this area can greatly deepen a woman’s sexual response. The foreskin tip gives a static electric charge to the G spot.

No one who has not seen the light can guide you to it.

The tantric master helps his students to attain complete independence. Once this is achieved, the contract between the two is essentially over.

A tantra orgasm can go on for a long, long time. Throughout this period, the mind stays completely in the moment, and so the moment literally seems endless.

Both women and men have Pubococcygeus (PC) muscles  which run from the pubic bone to the tailbone in a figure eight around the genitals. They play a vital role in both male and female sexual response.

The tantra teacher acts as a mediator between the earthly existence of his students and the celestial divinity that they wish to tap into.

Men who do Tantra sex will never have prostrate gland problems. All real tantrics know how to raise the Kundalini just by an act of controlled sex .

The foreskin works to retain lubrication during intercourse by bunching up at the vagina’s entrance. It acts as a dam to block lubrication from escaping. This bunching-up action of the foreskin also provides a delicate pressuring that excites the woman’s G spot, helping her to achieve vaginal orgasm.

A Tantric orgasm is a full body energy experience. G-spot stimulation is one way to access Tantric orgasms. The G-spot (Grafenberg spot) is a small, lima bean-shaped area on the upper side of the vaginal wall (tummy side), approximately 2.5 inches. This spot feels different in texture than the rest of the vagina. It is spongy and coarser in texture than the rest of the vagina, which is normally how it is found.

When the G-spot is manually stimulated, usually through hard pushing or constant rubbing, it causes intense orgasmic feelings that most women say exceeds a normal orgasmic response. I am talking about an electric charge here -- if you know what I mean.

Blood rushes to the G-spot just as it does to the clitoris during sexual excitement. Therefore, any sexual position which maximizes pressure to this area increases the chance for a G-spot orgasm. Tantric sex is meant both to enhance the physical sensations and to transform them into a vehicle for blissful insight.

Women feel the orgasm from the G-spot or vaginal stimulation deeper inside their body, rather than as the localized feeling they have with clitoral stimulation. The whole-body orgasm is one of the Tantric methods for reaching a state of ecstasy.

The Gräfenberg Spot, is the bean-shaped area of the vagina. This  is an erogenous zone which, when stimulated, can lead to strong sexual arousal, powerful orgasms and female ejaculation.

Billions of women have died without ever knowing what this is.

Circumcised men can never give this, as it is NOT about mere humping like a moron or pounding like an idiot , for the matter.

The G-Spot is actually part of the female prostrate. The West has really never understood the Indian Kama Sutra. They did NOT have the perception to know that it is NOT about 120 sexual positions like a pretzel.

The penis foreskin is highly erogenous tissue. It contains 20,000 – 40,000 touch-sensitive nerves that produce exquisite feelings of pleasure. Circumcision removes most, or all, of these highly erogenous touch-sensitive nerves. Cut off. Stripped away. Gone forever  - GONE GONAY GONE -- Circumcised sex is not the sensual experience nature intended.

Vatsyayana based the Kama Sutra off of the Kama Shastras which was written sometime around 2300 BC .  Making love and having sex is considered an art by the creator of the Kama Sutra.

Kama Sutra is basically a guide on human sexuality and gives you instructions on how to get a wife, how to make love, how to make yourself attractive to the opposite sex, and much more.

When you are more comfortable with yourself sexually and you actually sought out sexual pleasures then your life will be more well-rounded and balanced.  The Kama Sutra teaches you what the other person’s needs are (physically and mentally) and how to fulfill them!

Setting the mood for a good evening, ensuring that you are properly prepared (showered, shaved, annointed etc), using sensual touches, and some of the  techniques that the Kama Sutra teaches.

Indians did NOT need oral , anal sex or mechanical toys or vibrators.

Sorry plastic surgeons, very few Indian women have fried eggs for tits , or razor thin lips (with protruding teeth),  that they has to opt for plastic or silicone.

Vatsyayana's Kama Sutra has 1250 verses, distributed in 36 chapters, which are further organized into seven parts An intended purpose in nature’s design of the foreskin is to make intercourse more comfortable and pleasurable for the woman.

Anecdotal reports, and preliminary scientific evidence, indicate that women find intercourse with an intact man more satisfying and rewarding due to the extraordinary gentleness, sensuality, and mutuality of the experience

The foreskin contains estrogen receptors . The West has NOT yet understood its use in pleasure and spirituality.

Apocrine glands  produce pheromones, nature’s invisible yet compelling signals to potential sexual partners.  The West has NOT yet understood the use of this in pleasure and spirituality.

There is something called electromagnetic "cross-communication" when the penis is buried into the vagina with the foresking arcing on the G spot.

Without the mucosa of its foreskin, the penis lacks the capacity for the subtle electromagentic energy transfer that occurs during contact between two mucous membranes (the vaginal walls and the exposed inner lining of the foreskin). Such contact contributes to the full experience of sexual pleasure. The West has NOT yet understood this.

Masters and Johnson, the pathetic sex experts-- right?

Tantrics hold the human body as the pinnacle of creation, and they spent their energies in unlocking these amazing secrets by hit and trial or by following a Guru who had already experienced everything.

Kundalini awakened humans are provided with a life force beyond everyday understanding.  It allows them to fully experience their spiritual as well as worldly lives, as the line separating the two becomes almost nonexistent. And Vamachara Tantra uses sex to do this all the while enjoying yourself..

A Vamachara tantra master trains his disciples in overcoming of sexual inhibitions, guilt and fear.  He takes his student to unimagined heights of ecstasy. When about to explode into an orgasm you decelerate until time stands still. The spiritual awakening of a sadhak is described in Tantra by means of the symbol of the awakening and rising of the Kundalini power .

Sex is human electromagnetism and scalar fields.  We are NOT animals.

In Vamachara Tantra there is NIL roughness-- it is poetry in sex-- gentle, intimate, loving, prolonged , timeless--

Tantra sex goes on for hours without ejaculation—it is divine and revitalizing..
All around you see couples getting divorced.  One of the main reasons is nagging—the drip drip, constant nag or it can be the hurricane force nagging.  The marriage is now full of negativity, contempt, one-upmanship and resentment.  It is a black hole vortex , and once you cross the event horizon, the net result is a miserable divorce—and the uprooted lives of small happy children.

To avoid "premature ejaculation" (by Tantric standards), the man  presses his tongue against the roof of his mouth and tickles it , and sucks in his breath. Then he will not ejaculate and the semen will ascend inward on its own account.

This breed of Vamachara Tantrics is now dead, as Soma ( an organic herb thousand times more potent than LSD ) which is mentioned in Rig Veda of 5000 BC, is NOT available any more. This is NOT Western hedonism.

The foreskin acts as a natural gliding mechanism to reduce friction, chafing, and dryness during intercourse. Because of the foreskin’s unique gliding mechanism, sex is less abrasive to the vaginal walls of the female. Many women have commented that sex is much more comfortable when the man has a natural, intact penis.

Because of the gliding mechanism, sex is also more comfortable for the man, resulting in no chafing, soreness, or burning after intercourse or masturbation.

The circumcised man has insensitive glans.  After the first 4 months of marriage he is unable to keep his erection going , and the wife thinks that he has lost interest in her.

You can be married to Miss World,  after one year -- you will find the young 18 year old  kaloo naukarani baimore attractive , as far as a massive engorged penile HOP is concerned.

Familiarity breeds what?

The foreskin is the only moving part of the penis.  During any sexual activity, the foreskin and glans work in unison; their mutual interaction creates a complete sexual response.  In  intercourse  the non-abrasive gliding of the penis in and out of itself within the vagina facilitates smooth and pleasurable intercourse for both partners.

Without this gliding action, the corona of the circumcised penis can function as a one-way valve, dragging vaginal lubricants out into the drying air and making artificial lubricants essential for non-painful intercourse.

Thousands of coiled fine-touch receptors (Meissner’s corpuscles) constitute the most important sensory component of the penis . The foreskin contains branches of the dorsal nerve and between 10,000 and 20,000 specialized erotogenic nerve endings of several types, which are capable of sensing slight motion and stretch, subtle changes in temperature, and fine gradations in texture.

Meissner's corpuscles  are rapidly adaptive receptors.  Meissner's corpuscles do not detect pain; this is signalled exclusively by free nerve endings.  The glans of the circumcised penis is less sensitive to fine touch than the glans of the uncircumcised penis.  The glans in the circumcised male is less sensitive to fine-touch pressure than the glans of the uncircumcised male. The most sensitive regions in the uncircumcised penis are those parts ablated by circumcision.

The frenulum is a a highly nerve-laden web of tissue that tethers the inner foreskin to the underside of the glans.  It is similar to the frenula found under the tongue, the upper lip and the clitoral hood (female foreskin).

In men with spinal cord injury preventing sensations from reaching the brain, the frenulum just below the glans can be stimulated to produce orgasm and peri-ejaculatory response.

The frenulum prevents the intact foreskin from retracting and fully exposing the inner foreskin, like it is on a circumcised man. As a tether, the frenulum has a tendency to pull the foreskin toward the glans. The frenulum is highly innervated with Meissner's corpuscles, which are fine-touch nerves. The frenulum is one of the most sensitive areas on the penis.

For many intact men, the penile frenulum is a male "G-spot" that is highly pleasurable when repeatedly stretched and relaxed during sexual activity.  Depending on the surgical method used, the frenulum is partially to completely destroyed by circumcision.

The foreskin contains several feet of blood vessels, including the frenular artery and branches of the dorsal artery. The loss of this rich vascularization interrupts normal blood flow to the shaft and glans of the penis, damaging the natural function of the penis and altering its development.

The soft mucosa of the inner foreskin produces plasma cells, which secrete immunoglobulin antibodies, and antibacterial and antiviral proteins, such as the pathogen-killing enzyme called lysozyme.

All of the human mucosa (the linings of the mouth, eyelids, vagina, foreskin and anus) are the body's first line of defense against disease.  This benefit of the foreskin could be one possible explanation why intact men are at lower risk of chlamydia and other sexually transmitted diseases

Langerhans cells are  specialized epithelial cells are a component of the immune system and may play a role in protecting the penis from sexually transmitted infections such as HIV (AIDS).

The oils produced by Sebaceous glands  lubricate and moisturize the foreskin and glans, so that the two structures function together smoothly.

Dartos fascia is a smooth muscle sheath that underlies the scrotum, the entire penis and the tip of the foreskin. It is necessary for proper temperature regulation of the genitals (causing these structures to elongate in the heat and shrink in the cold). Approximately half of the Dartos fascia is destroyed by circumcision.

In deep forests unfortunate tribal boys who suffer botched circumcisions lose part or all of their penis from surgical mishap or subsequent infection.  They are often "sexually reassigned" by castration and "transgender surgery" and become Hijras.

Prostate cancer is the most common kind of cancer and the second leading cause of death from cancer for men in the United States.

The circumcised men's prostate cancer rate higher than the intact men's.

For long the vested Jewish doctor lobby has been immorally  advocating circumcision almost like child immunization.

Of course Jewish porn industry will have only circumcised dongs.

Recent extravagant claims that circumcision is the long-desired "silver bullet" against AIDS are mainly wish fulfillment.  There are no proven cases of an infant, child or adult becoming sick or dying because he had not been circumcised; but here are thousands of recorded cases where infants, children and men have been seriously injured, become sick or have died as a direct result of circumcision.

In any case HIV does NOT cause AIDS.

Punch into Google search-

HIV DOES NOT CAUSE AIDS , MANY AIDS PATIENTS HAVE NIL HIV INSIDE THEM VADAKAYIL

Circumcision may also be considered in some cases for adults with the following health conditions:
severe cases of phimosis – a tight foreskin that can't be retracted.

recurrent balanoposthitis ( below ) – inflammation of the foreskin.

Phimosis is a constriction of the opening of the foreskin so that it cannot be drawn back over the tip of the penis. This condition is a normal occurrence in the newborn boy, but over time, the skin that adheres to the tip of the penis can be retracted as the foreskin loosens.

The foreskin of a newborn boy is always closely contracted around the penis head (glans). Only a small passage allows the urine to pass through. In the first months the foreskin is stuck to the glans and cannot be pulled back and one should not attempt to do so.

By age 17, 99 percent of males will be able to completely retract their foreskin.  Phimosis can also occur if the foreskin is forced back before it’s ready. This can cause a fibrous scar to form, which may prevent future retraction of the foreskin.

Phimosis may also arise in untreated diabetics due to the presence of glucose in their urine giving rise to infection in the foreskin.  Application of topical steroid cream, weak corticosteroid,  such as betamethasone, for 4–6 weeks to the narrow part of the foreskin is relatively simple, less expensive than surgical treatments.  A trial of treatment with betamethasone dipropionate (0.05%) for 2 weeks is advocated in all children with phimosis before undertaking surgery.

Sometimes splits and tightness are due to a fungal or yeast (thrush) infection. Treatment with an antifungal / anti-yeast cream designed for women’s genitals will usually fix this problem. Or you can use a Hydrocortisone / anti-fungicide mix like “Fungocort”.  Or lots of vitamin E oil and cortisone cream.  Ghee contain vitamin E.

Muhammad and Menstruation

Muhammad and Menstruation

Sam Shamoun
http://www.answering-islam.org/Muhammad/Inconsistent/menstruation.htm
The Quran expressly prohibits a man from approaching his wife during her monthly cycle:
They will question thee concerning the monthly course. Say: 'It is hurt; so go apart from women during the monthly course, and do not approach them till they are clean. When they have cleansed themselves, then come unto them as God has commanded you.' Truly, God loves those who repent, and He loves those who cleanse themselves. S. 2:222 Arberry
Here is another version:
They ask you concerning menstruation. Say: that is an Adha (a harmful thing for a husband to have a sexual intercourse with his wife while she is having her menses), therefore keep away from women during menses and go not unto them till they have purified (from menses and have taken a bath). And when they have purified themselves, then go in unto them as Allah has ordained for you (go in unto them in any manner as long as it is in their vagina). Truly, Allah loves those who turn unto Him in repentance and loves those who purify themselves (by taking a bath and cleaning and washing thoroughly their private parts, bodies, for their prayers, etc.). Hilali-Khan
The hadith provides an example of how the foregoing directive was carried out:
Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin:
When I menstruated, I left the bed and lay on the reed-mat and did not approach or come near the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) until we were purified. (Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 1, Number 0271)
As a sidenote, it is interesting that it is Aisha who has to leave the bed, not Muhammad, even though it is supposedly her house. He has plenty of other beds he could go to sleep in, but Aisha now has to lie on the floor!
It is obvious from the above that men were forbidden from approaching menstruating women altogether, which agrees fully with some of the ritual purity commands found in God’s true Word, the Torah or Pentateuch:
"When a woman has a discharge, and the discharge in her body is blood, she shall be in her menstrual impurity for seven days, and whoever touches her shall be unclean until the evening. And everything on which she lies during her menstrual impurity shall be unclean. Everything also on which she sits shall be unclean. And whoever touches her bed shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening. And whoever touches anything on which she sits shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and be unclean until the evening. Whether it is the bed or anything on which she sits, when he touches it he shall be unclean until the evening. And if any man lies with her and her menstrual impurity comes upon him, he shall be unclean seven days, and every bed on which he lies shall be unclean." Leviticus 15:19-24
"Also you shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness during her menstrual impurity." Leviticus 18:19
Moreover, Muhammad went a step further by classifying menstruation as Satan’s handiwork:
Narrated Grandfather of Adi ibn Thabit
Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: Sneezing, drowsing, yawning in prayer, also menstruation, vomiting and nose-bleeding are from (the acts of) Satan. Transmitted by Tirmidhi. (Tirmidhi Hadith, Number 315; ALIM CD-ROM Version)
Obviously a God-fearing person would want to stay clear and as far away possible from any act or work of Satan. For instance, the Quran warns Muslims to avoid idolatrous practices, gambling and intoxicants since they are the works of Satan:
O believers, wine and arrow-shuffling, idols and divining-arrows are an abomination, some of Satan's work; so avoid it; haply So you will prosper. Satan only desires to precipitate enmity and hatred between you in regard to wine and arrow-shuffling, and to bar you from the remembrance of God, and from prayer. Will you then desist? S. 5:90-91 Arberry
Thus, since true Muslims shun idolatrous rites, gambling and intoxicants altogether on the grounds that they are satanic in origin, it would seem rather obvious that they would also avoid all physical contact with their women until they are completely purified from their periods – seeing that menstruation is said to be an illness from Satan according to Muhammad. This is precisely what the Hebrew Scriptures teach, i.e. men shouldn't touch or come near women during their courses until they are completely clean. We would therefore expect Muhammad to avoid all contact with women during their courses especially when he is supposed to serve as an example for Muslims to emulate:
Ye have indeed in the Apostle of God a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in God and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of God. S. 33:21 Y. Ali
And verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on an exalted standard of character. S. 68:4 Hilali-Khan
Yet instead of avoiding women during their courses by not coming near them, Muhammad wasn’t able to control his sexual desires since he would approach his wives to fondle them during their "illness":
Narrated 'Aisha:
The Prophet and I used to take a bath from a single pot while we were Junub. During the menses, he used to order me to put on an Izar (dress worn below the waist) and used to fondle me. While in Itikaf, he used to bring his head near me and I would wash it while I used to be in my periods (menses). (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 6, Number 298)
Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin Al-Aswad:
(on the authority of his father) 'Aisha said: "Whenever Allah's Apostle wanted to fondle anyone of us during her periods (menses), he used to order her to put on an Izar and start fondling her." 'Aisha added, "None of you could control his sexual desires as the Prophet could." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 6, Number 299; see also Number 300)
It is important to note here that Aisha didn’t qualify her report by saying "once" or "sometimes" but specifically stated that Muhammad "used to" act in this way, and did so "whenever he wanted to", i.e. this was his common and regular behavior.
Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin:
Umarah ibn Ghurab said that his paternal aunt narrated to him that she asked Aisha: What if one of us menstruates and she and her husband have no bed except one? She replied: I relate to you what the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) had done.
One night he entered (upon me) while I was menstruating. He went to the place of his prayer, that is, to the place of prayer reserved (for this purpose) in his house. He did not return until I felt asleep heavily, and he felt pain from cold. And he said: Come near me. I said: I am menstruating. He said: Uncover your thighs. I, therefore, uncovered both of my thighs. Then he put his cheek and chest on my thighsand I lent upon he until he became warm and slept. (Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 1, Number 0270)
One may note on this matter that Muhammad had a multitude of wives so that there was nearly always at least one wife who did not have her menses at any given time. So, even in his greatest sexual urge he could easily have had intercourse with one or more of his wives without the need of fondling the wife that was currently having her period. In light of this, Aisha’s statement that Muhammad was able to control his sexual desires is all the more ironic since he didn’t need to touch any woman during her courses when he had so many other women to choose from who would not have been menstruating. It is rather obvious that Muhammad could not control and resist his strong urges to be with his child bride and needed to find a way to be physically intimate with her. He didn’t care whether this meant that he would be breaking his own commands, ones which he claimed were given to him by God, to do so!
As if this weren't bad enough Muhammad would even recite the Quran, the supposed eternal speech of Allah, while in the lap of his menstruating child bride!
Narrated 'Aisha:
The Prophet used to lean on my lap and recite Qur'an while I was in menses. (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 1, Book 6, Number 296)
Narrated 'Aisha:
The Prophet used to recite the Quran with his head in my lap while I used to be in my periods (having menses). (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 93, Number 639)
What makes this rather ironic is that faithful Muslims do not dare touch the Quran in a state of ritual impurity and will often wash their hands before touching their scripture, and yet their prophet had no qualms with reciting and mentioning his god's name while reclining on a cermonially impure child!
Some Muslims get rather ingenious and claim that the Quran is not prohibiting all physical contact with women, but forbidding sexual intercourse, which is not the plain reading of the text. When asked on what basis they come to this conclusion, the response given is that Muhammad fondled his wives during their menses! In other words, they use circular reasoning by assuming that Muhammad, being perfect, wouldn’t sin by breaking God’s command, thereby proving that it is okay for men to fondle their wives during their courses.
In fact, Muslims are told to avoid touching women at all before their prayers, because they fear they may be unclean:
O ye who believe! Draw not near unto prayer when ye are drunken, till ye know that which ye utter, nor when ye are polluted, save when journeying upon the road, till ye have bathed. And if ye be ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from the closet, or ye have TOUCHED women, and ye find not water, then go to high clean soil and rub your faces and your hands (therewith). Lo! Allah is Benign, Forgiving. S. 4:43 Pickthall; cf. 5:6
According to some Muslim scholars this refers to touching a woman with one's hand:
... or you have touched women (lamastum, a variant reading has lamastum: both mean lams, that is, 'TOUCHING WITH THE HAND', as stated by Ibn 'Umar; this is also the opinion of al-Shafi'i, and it extends to touching with other parts of the skin; according to Ibn 'Abbas, however, it is [referring to] sexual intercourse) … (Tafsir al-Jalalaynsource; capital emphasis ours)
And:
Al-Shafi`i took the verse "Or if you have touched women" (4:43) literally, and considered that contact between the sexes, even accidental, nullified ablution. This is also the position of Ibn Mas`ud, Ibn `Umar, al-Sha`bi, al-Nakha`i, al-Zuhri, and al-Awza`i, which is confirmed by Ibn `Umar's report: "Whoever kisses OR TOUCHES HIS WIFE WITH HIS HAND must renew his wudû'." It is authentic and related in numerous places including Malik's Muwatta'. Al-Shafi`i said: "Something similar has reached us from Ibn Mas`ud." They all read the above verse literally, without interpreting "touch" to mean "sexual intercourse" as do the Hanafis, or "touch with pleasure" as do the Malikis. (Dr. G.F. Haddad, Imam Shafi’isource; capital emphasis ours)
This, perhaps, accounts for Muhammad refusing to shake women's hands:
Malik related to me from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir that Umayma bint Ruqayqa said, "I went to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, with the women who took an oath of allegiance with him in Islam. They said, 'Messenger of Allah! We take a pledge with you not to associate anything with Allah, not to steal, not to commit adultery, not to kill our children, nor to produce any lie that we have devised between our hands and feet, and not to disobey you in what is known.' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'In what you can do and are able.'"
Umayma continued, "They said, 'Allah and His Messenger are more merciful to us than ourselves. Come, let us give our hands to you, Messenger of Allah!' The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'I do not shake hands with women. My word to a hundred women is like my word to one woman.'" (Malik's Muwatta, Book 55, Number 55.1.2)
The above supports the interpretation that in Q. 2:222 mere touching was meant, not only intercourse.
More importantly, it is not at all certain that Muhammad didn’t actually engage in sexual intercourse with his wives during their menses. Certain narrations presuppose that he did have sex with them during their courses:
Maimuna (the wife of the Holy Prophet) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) contacted and embraced his wives over the waist-wrapper when they were menstruating. (Sahih Muslim, Book 003, Number 0579)
And:
'A'isha reported: When anyone amongst us (amongst the wives of the Holy Prophet) menstruated, the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) asked her to tie a waist-wrapper over her (body) and thenembraced her. (Sahih Muslim, Book 003, Number 0577)
In his note to the above hadith of Aisha the translator of Sahih Muslim admits that the Arabic word for embraced, yubashira, is used in relation to sexual intercourse, even though he tries to explain it away:
499. This tradition has been the target of worst criticism by the hostile critics of the Hadith.(1). They assert that it contravenes the teachings of the Qur’an (ii. 222), in which has been commanded to keep aloof from women during menstrual period. But these critics little realise that it is the sexual intercourse with the menstruating women which is prohibited. The hadith gives no indication that the Holy Prophet acted against this injunction of the Qur’an. The very wording that he ordered to tie a waist-wrapper on the lower part of her body gives a clear indication that the Holy Prophet did not have sexual intercourse with his wives during this period of discharge; he simply embraced them. The verb … (yubashira) does not necessarily mean sexual intercourse. It denotes to have a contact, to touch (Lane’sArabic-English Lexicon). (Sahih Muslim by Imam Muslim, rendered into English by Abdul Hamid Siddiqui [Kitab Bhavan Exporters & Importers, New Delhi India, 11th reprinted edition 1995], Book III–Kitab Al-Haid (Menstruation), Chapter CXIX. Lying With One in Menstruation Above The Waist-Wrapper, Volumes I & II, p. 172; bold and underline emphasis ours)(1)
Nor is this the only Muslim to admit that the verb that is used here denotes sexual intercourse. This next source agrees that the word can refer to sexual relations:
c. Mubasharah in Arabic means either (i) having sex or (ii) simply embracing and caressing the wife. Here it is used in the latter sense [sic]. (English Translation of Sunan Ibn Majah - Compiled by Imam Muhammad Bin Yazeed Ibn Majah Al-Qazwini, From Hadith No. 01 to 802, Ahadith edited and referenced by Hafiz Abu Tahir Zubair 'Ali Za'i, translated by Nasiruddin al-Khattab (Canada), final review by Abu Khaliyl (USA) [Darussalam Publications and Distributors, First Edition: June 2007], Volume 1, The Chapters on Dry Ablution, Chapter 121. What A Man May Do With His Wife When She is Menstruating, p. 423)
The translator of Sahih Muslim has indirectly provided corroboration for our assertion that the plain meaning of Q. 2:222, as even understood by certain Muslims (specifically those who reject the hadiths), is that men are forbidden from approaching women altogether during their menses.
Now the translator has assumed that Q. 2:222 does not command the men to avoid all contact with their menstruating wives but only prohibits them from having sex. He also reasons that the verb yubashira in this particular context cannot mean that Muhammad had sexual contact with his wives because he erroneously believes that his prophet faithfully carried out the Quran’s instructions. Such is not the case at all since Muhammad often failed to practice what he preached just as the articles listed at this page amply testify.
Thus, if we do not assume that Muhammad acted consistently and if we take the verb in its natural sense then the meaning of the hadith becomes pretty plain and clear: Muhammad ordered his wives to wear a waist-wrapper so as to avoid getting the bed "messy" from their courses during the act of sex.
Interestingly, this next report substantiates our explanation of the facts:
Umm Salama reported: While I was lying with the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) in a bed cover I menstruated, so I slipped away and I took up the clothes (which I wore) in menses. Upon this the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Have you menstruated? I said: Yes. He called me and I lay down with him in the bed cover. (And she further) said that she and the Messenger of Allah used to take bath from the same vessel after sexual intercourse. (Siddiqui, Sahih Muslim by Imam Muslim, Book 003, Number 0581, pp. 173-174; source)
The implication of Umm Salama’s statements is that Muhammad and her would engage in sexual intimacy even during her menses and would bathe from the same vessel afterwards.
Note: The online version has omitted a portion of the hadith, which may have been an accidental oversight or perhaps even deliberate. The webmaster may have felt that this particular narrative was too incriminating and embarrassing to post in its entirety since it casts Muhammad in a negative light, providing evidence that he failed to carry out his own commands.
Besides, even if we agreed with the translator that the verb simply meant that his prophet fondled his wives this still wouldn’t absolve Muhammad from guilt. Muhammad not only violated the teachings of his own Quran which prohibit men from making contact with women during their courses, he also failed to do that which he claimed was better:
Narrated Mu'adh ibn Jabal:
I asked the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him): What is lawful for a man to do with his wife when she is menstruating? He replied: What is above the waist-wrapper, BUT IT IS BETTER FOR YOU TO ABSTAIN FROM IT, TOO.
Abu Dawud said: This (tradition) is not strong. (Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 1, Number 0212)
Although the tradition is said not to be strong, the point is still clear: Muhammad told his companion it is better not to touch women from the waist up during their menstruation, something that he was personally guilty of doing! Muhammad thereby failed to put into practice his own teachings of what was better or more appropriate.
Hence, Muhammad’s fondling of his wives is simply additional evidence of his inconsistency, of his failure to apply the commands of his own deity perfectly. It provides more proof that Muhammad was a sinner (1234,56) who needed the Lord Jesus to save him from his imperfections.

Endnotes
(1) Some of the critics of these particular hadiths include Shia Muslims, specifically those who write for www.answering-ansar.org. Here is what these Muslims say concerning the hadiths which mention Muhammad fondling his wives during their menses:
Twelfth example of Sunni morality - Rasulullah (s) violated the Qur'an to satiate his sexual desire (astaghfirullah)We read in Muslim, Volume 1, Book 6, Number 298:

Narrated 'A'isha:
The Prophet and I used to take a bath from a single pot while we were Junub. During the menses, he used to order me to put on an Izar (dress worn below the waist) and used to (bashr) fondle me. While in Itikaf, he used to bring his head near me and I would wash it while I used to be in my periods (menses).
They then quote Q. 2:222 and proceed to say that:
This verse clearly prohibits intercourse whilst one's wife is menstruating. The word that the translator Mr. Muhsin Khan has translated as "fondle" is mubasharath - and this actually means 'to have sexual intercourse'. The term had been used by Allah (swt) in the Qur'an re Ramadhan - wherein Allah (swt) had stated that the previous injunction prohibiting intercourse during the night was abrogated:

"It is made lawful for you to have sexual relations with your wives on the night of the fasts. They are garments for you and you are the same for them. Allah knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He turned to you and forgave you. So now have sexual relations with them and seek that which Allah has ordained for you, and eat and drink until the white thread (light) of dawn appears to you distinct from the black thread (darkness of night), then complete your fast till the nightfall. And do not have sexual relations with them (your wives) while you are in Itikaf in the mosques. These are the limits (set) by Allah, so approach them not. Thus does Allah make clear His signs to mankind that they may become Al Mut'ahqun (the pious)" (2:187).

The Qur'an has clearly used this term as meaning intercourse so if we are to accept this hadith as Sahih then it means that Ayesha claimed Rasulullah (s) had sex with her whilst she was menstruating. By deeming such hadith as Sahih these Nasibi have alleged that Rasulullah (s) violated a Qur'anic injunction (astaghfirullah).

The image had such a lasting effect on the Sahaba Jabir, that Ahl'ul Sunnah's authority work Kashaf al Ghimma page 65, narrates Jabir's words, from the mouth of Ayesha:

"During my menses, Rasulullah (s) would 'Bashr' [have intercourse] with me. He would order me to tie a knot in a large cloth, after I did this he would embrace my chest"

Is there any greater immorality than having sex with one's wife during her menses? Allah (swt) has condemned such an act and the Ahl as-Sunnah have proudly claimed that Rasulullah (s) had done just that. (Mut’ah, a comprehensive guide, Chapter 7: Examples of Sunni Morality; source; underline emphasis ours)
Hence, these authors have provided further corroboration that, according to the language employed by the so-called sound narratives, Muhammad actually had sex with his wives during their menses in clear violation of the Qur’anic injunction. Moreover, much like Sunni Muslims, these Shias erroneously assume that Muhammad was a true prophet who acted in perfect compliance with the instructions of the Quran. Yet, unlike the Sunni Muslims who seek to interpret bashr to mean something other than sexual intercourse in order to avoid having to admit that Muhammad failed to live up to his own standards, these Shias concede that this is what the Arabic word actually means in the context and take this as grounds to reject the validity of these reports.
However, not all Sunni Muslims attempt to obscure or redefine these narratives, and some have even been troubled by such reports. In fact, one such Muslim was so disturbed by these stories of Muhammad’s blatant inconsistency that he ended up rejecting Islam and eventually found his way to Christ (by God's grace). The late Muslim convert to Christianity Muhammad Al Ghazoli stated concerning this very issue of Muhammad touching his wives during their courses that:
Despite the fact that Muhammad had eleven wives, the Messenger of Allah would not wait for his wives’ menstrual period to end. He entered into his wives while they were menstruating, despite the fact that it is forbidden in the Sura of The Cow. In the Hadith of Sahih Muslim, Vol. I, page 590, Muslim says, quoting Nawawi, that Aisha said:
“If anyone of us was having her menstrual period, Allah’s Messenger ordered her to come to him for sexual intercourse while she is on the peak of her period.”
Maymuna said:
“The Messenger of Allah used to have sexual intercourse with me during my menstrual period, while a piece of garment is between us.”
Umm Salma said the same thing.
Muhammad got married during the pilgrimage journey [cf. this article] when his god clearly forbade such action. He had sexual intercourse with his wives while they were having their menstrual periods, which his god also prohibited. Ask yourself: Why did Muhammad commit all those blatant violations? Surely, in the depth of his soul, he did not believe that the real Gabriel came to him, or that God sent down any thing upon him. How could he do all these disgusting things without reluctance? Were those the actions of a normal person? Certainly not ... Clearly, his life, actions and behavior never complied with God’s real and holy teachings. Oh that Muslims of the earth may use their reasoning power! (Ghazoli, Christ, Muhammad and I, translated by R. Winston Mazakis, edited by David W. Daniels [Chick Publications, Ontario, Calif 91761 (*)], 2. Muhammad’s 23 Marriages, pp. 56-57)
Here, Ghazoli translated the verb bashr in its literal sense, as having intercourse, since he clearly understood from the context that this is its precise meaning. Unlike other Sunni Muslims, he had gotten past the point of trying to cover up Muhammad’s double standards and hypocrisy. Hopefully, we pray that more Muslims will also get to this point and find their way to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Circumcision Among Abraham's People

Circumcision Among Abraham's People

Circumcision of both males and females appears to originate among Nilotic tribes such as the Samburu. Among the Samburu circumcision of boys marks the initiation to moran (warrior) status and for girls it signifies becoming a woman. Once circumcised, a girl can be married and start her own family. However, not all Nilotic tribes practice circumcision. The principal initiation rite of the Luo involves removing six front teeth.

Since Abraham's ancestors came out of the Upper Nile region and the rulers of his people were kin to the rulers of Egypt, so we should not be surprised that circumcision was practiced among his Horite people.  Circumcision originated among the Kushites and Egyptians and the Horites (called "Horim" by the Jews) were ethnically Kushite.

Found at Tel Gezer (dated 12th to mid-11th century BC)
The Egyptian word for phallus was khenen (hnn) related to khenty, meaning before or in front of
Genesis on Circumcision

The practice of circumcision is first mentioned in Genesis 17 in relationship to a covenant and an heir born to the elderly Abraham and Sarah. Here there is a natural relationship between the gift of fertility and the rite of circumcision. At this point in the narrative Abraham's only first-born son is Ishmael and it is he who is circumcised. Later we are told that Abraham had all the males of his household circumcised. This suggests that all Abraham's sons were to be regarded as priests, since it was generally only priests and rulers who were circumcised among the ancient Nilotic peoples. Likely, this is what stands behind the scripture (II Sam. 18:8) which calls David's sons ruler-priests.

Source critics claim that this section of Genesis is the work of the Priestly source. That would make sense seeing that circumcision was apparently performed among priests in Egypt and required of their slaves also. This suggests that circumcision has to do with ritual purity. Even today uncircumcised women are regarded as ritually unclean and unsuitable as wives among peoples throughout Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia and in Chad and parts of Nigeria.

Circumcision was also required of Egyptian rulers, as evidenced by circumcised royal mummies. This would indicate that Abraham and his sons were nobles, as is suggested also by their being listed among the Horite rulers in Genesis 4, 5 and 11:10-32.

In Genesis 17:11 we read that God told the elderly Abraham to "circumcise the flesh of your foreskin, and that will be the sign of the covenant between myself and you." The divine instructions said to circumcise all males of his household on the 8th day after birth, but Ishmael was circumcised at age 13 (Gen. 17:25). The instructions also include the circumcision of slaves.

Genesis doesn't say much else about circumcision, although it is likely that Joseph, as a ruler in Egypt and husband to the daughter of the high priest of On, was circumcised. Nothing is said about female circumcision, but this doesn't mean that it wasn't practiced.

It is clear that Abraham's people practiced circumcision, but it is not likely that circumcision originated with Abraham. In fact, there is a suggestion of another origin in Exodus.

Exodus on Circumcision

In Exodus 4, we find another reference to circumcision. This also is connected to the first-born son. The story of Zipporah circumcising her first-born son has as its backdrop these words to Pharaoh: "Thus says the Lord: Israel is My first-born son. I have said to you, 'Let my son go, that he may worship Me,' yet you refuse to let him go. Now I will slay your first-born son." (Ex. 4:22-23)

The Exodus narrative speaks of a more primitive view of circumcision as a warding off of evil and death, just as the blood of the Passover lamb warded off death. Using a ritual flint knife like the high saline flint knives found at al-Badar, Zipporah cut off her son's foreskin and touched Moses' "legs" (genitals?) with it, saying "You are truly a bridegroom of blood to me!... A bridegroom of blood because of the circumcision."

Two ideas are consistent between the Genesis and Exodus narratives. First, circumcision is a blood rite connected to fertility and most especially with the hope of male heirs. Second, circumcision in itself did not guarantee protection from divine judgment.

Circumcision in Egypt

In ancient Egypt the circumcised penis was a fertility symbol. According to Egyptologist, E. A. Budge (The Gods of the Egyptians, Dover Publications), an early deity of Egypt was a god of circumcision who maintained the fertility of the Nile banks. Early Egyptian mythology also includes the belief that the universe was created by the blood that was shed when God circumcised himself. Here we find the recurring theme of "life in the blood."

Circumcision and Metal Workers

Whatever the origin of circumcision, it is most certain that it comes out of Africa. Even today in many parts of central Africa, when a boy is to be circumcised, the metal worker is called to perform the rite. This may explain why Zipporah circumcised Moses' first-born son. Zipporah was a Midianite and the Midianties were itinerant metal workers. Moses, having been raised in the palace in Egypt, was not qualified to circumcise his own son.

Does this suggest that Abraham, a descendent of the smithy Tubal-Cain, was also a metal worker? It is certainly a good possibility. Even today in central Africa metal working chiefs maintain 2 wives in separate households and intinerate between those homesteads. This is one of the fascinating discoveries of fellow Kentuckian, Michael Kirtley, who traveled through Niger hoping to meet a renowned metal worker named Ahoudan. Michael was told, "You'll be lucky to find him. He has two homes and two wives, in Abardokh and Tabelot." (The Inadan: Artisans of the Sahara, National Geographic, August 1979)

Abraham also had 2 wives and maintained them in separate households. He itinerated between those locations, which led to the idea of Abraham as a "wandering Aramean." If his route was between Hebron (Sarah) and Beersheba (Keturah), we can well understand one of his sources of wealth. His business brought him into contact with merchants who traveled the ancient caravan routes between Heliopolis, a shrine city on the Nile, to Mesopotamia. There is a reference in the Rig Veda (9.112.2) to itinerant metal-smiths who made arrows of metal to sell to wealthy customers, so the itinerant life of metal workers must have extended even to the Indus River Valley.

Abraham refers to himself as an resident alien in Genesis 23:4, but significantly, the people living in the land regarded him as a "great prince of God" living among them (verse 5).

Parsi boy’s PhD thesis to sex

Parsi boy’s PhD thesis to sex

bestsellerwww.telegraphindia.com/1120207/jsp/nation/story_15103283.jsp

- Dabhoiwala juggles job & interview requests
London, Feb. 6: Faramerz Dabhoiwala is a Parsi boy made good — in fact, his new book on sex has very quickly become just about the hottest property in the literary world.
When an online article on The Origins of Sex: A History of the First Sexual Revolution appeared in a British national newspaper, Dabhoiwala confides to The Telegraph, “thousands and thousands of people around the world read that and hundreds of people tweeted about it — and some of those tweets are from people in India”.
The Telegraph 7 Days had carried an article on Dabhoiwala, published by The Times, London, on Sunday.
The basic message in the book is that sexual freedom is taken for granted in the West in general and in Britain in particular, but before the start of “the age of Enlightenment” in 1800, sex outside marriage was completely taboo. And same-sex marriage was considered nothing short of sinful.
Dabhoiwala has been flooded with requests for interviews about his book (Allen Lane, Penguin, £25), which initially began as a PhD thesis before he spent 10 years on scholarly research into the subject.
As he points out in his book, the subject has universal appeal: “Sexual intercourse is a universal human practice. Yet sex also has a history.”
In between meeting the demands for interviews, Dabhoiwala laughs and says he has got to keep his day job going — he is the senior fellow in history at Exeter College, Oxford, and a fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
“I am travelling all the time but I have to be in Oxford because my job continues, because it is term time and I am teaching and I am doing all the things one has to do,” he points out.
“I feel my life is even more exciting and enjoyable than it was a few months ago,” he goes on. “I have had terrific help from my publishers.”
It has been 10 years or so since Dabhoiwala was last in India but he is looking forward to doing a book tour of the country — this should be possible soon since his publishers are Penguin, except in the US where The Origins of Sex is being brought out by Oxford University Press.
His literary agent in America is none other than Andrew Wylie, whose stable of celebrity authors includes some of the highest earners in the business, including Salman Rushdie, V.S. Naipaul and Patrick French.
So, people in India can draw up a list of questions on sex — one could be on how far India should go in following western notions of sexual freedom.
“My people are Parsi,” confirms Dabhoiwala. “My dad got married in the late 1960s and emigrated from India to England to complete his medical training as a surgeon.”
Dabhoiwala, who is in his forties, has dedicated the book to his partner, Jo, and their daughters, Jocelyn and Zoë.
“I was born in England and I lived in England until I was five and then we moved to Amsterdam and I grew up there and decided that I wanted to go back to England to go to university,” he tells The Telegraph. “I have family in Bombay still.”
He explains: “The PhD was the seed from which this huge project was finally completed after more than 10 years.”
He had no idea of the enormity of the task he was taking on. “I did know that I wanted to write a total history.”
The Origins of Sex is essentially set in the West but Dabhoiwala says: “I would love people to read the book anyway and think about the parallels between what I am describing and what their own outlook and circumstances are.”
A paperback version will follow soon and the e-book is available for downloading straightway.
There is a clear inference in the book that there is a correlation between sexual and democratic freedoms.
There was a time before 1800 when “the sexual culture of the West was exactly opposite to what we nowadays take for granted. All sex outside marriage was criminal. People were everyday flogged and imprisoned and punished for it. People were even being executed across Europe for adultery.”
When the old rules were relaxed, the benefits did not extend to everyone, Dabhoiwala argues, but followed existing power structures. It was decided that “it’s only white, upper-class men in both the political and sexual spheres that should really have these freedoms. It’s not okay for black people to have the vote. It’s not okay for women to have the vote. Similarly, it’s not okay for them to have the same kind of sexual freedoms (as men).”
Same-sex activity attracted the strongest condemnation. “In the 18th century that is one of the red lines between what is natural and what is unnatural and you see an increase in persecution of people for same-sex activity. There is also this idea that women are essentially passionless, asexual and it is unnatural for them to have sexual desire.”
Perhaps when Dabhoiwala comes to India, he will be able to expand more fully on how an essentially conservative country will be able to find a balance between repressive orthodoxy and the “anything goes” attitudes prevalent today in sections of western society.
Sex is good, the more the better, according to Dabhoiwala’s findings. But have the breakdown of family life and the growing incidence of single mothers who have a number of children by different fathers really been good for the individuals or society in general? And if not, when does good sex become bad sex?
He responds: “One of the things that I end my book with is the extent to which, in the West at any rate in the last 30 or 40 years, the idea of individual rights — that individuals have the right to determine what they do sexually — has become seemingly much more important than the idea of the common good. In fact, people don’t really allude to the common good any more when talking about sex. It makes them uncomfortable.”
He hopes Indians will reflect on what he has to say about prostitution. “I hope that Indian readers will recognise what I say about 19th century attitudes more generally — for example, on the question of prostitution which becomes hugely more important and widespread from the 18th century onwards. If you assert it is natural for men to be promiscuous but it is also natural for respectable women to be chaste then one solution to that is prostitution. You create a different class of women.”
As St Valentine’s Day approaches, self-styled guardians of Indian morality will seek to place a ban on youthful expressions of mutual affection and fun.
But Dabhoiwala offers this prediction: “Just as western feminism has had an impact across the globe, so too have western concepts of sexual freedom.”

Many circumcised men fail to recognize their own circumcision damage and assume that peculiar things about their penis are 'normal' or 'a birth defect.'
NOHARMM documents evidence of how males have been harmed by circumcision. After reading this page, we encourage you to complete a confidential  Harm Documentation Form and submit it to NOHARMM. Some individuals may be able to take legal action against their circumciser, especially those who initiate action within one year after first realizing their damage or, in the case of minors, within one year of turning age 18. We can refer you to an appropriate attorney.
This page illustrates some of the physical consequences of infant circumcision, as they appear in the adult male:

No skin mobility; ScarringBelow: This photograph shows the lack of skin mobility during erection of a circumcised penis. Note the dark scar where the foreskin was amputated.
Circumcision Damage - Scar (33 KB)
This tightness and the unnatural dryness of the penile shaft and head causes some men (and their partners) pain, abrasion, and bleeding during sex. Breaks in the skin are an effective way to transmit and contract sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV.

Below: These five photographs show how the shaft skin of
an intact (non-circumcised) penis moves during sexual activity.

Anonymous photo taken from usenet news.
Range of skin movement marked by point A is several inches back and forth.
Note how point B moves and the end of the foreskin widens to accommodate
the head of the penis. Notice the smooth texture of the head of the penis.
The moist mucosal surface of the foreskin and glans is similar to that
of the female labia and vagina.
NOTE: Retraction is normally not possible or desirable in infants and young children.

KeratinizationThe glans (penile head) is normally an internal organ protected by the moist mucosal tissue of the prepuce (foreskin). Without the foreskin, the glans is exposed to the outer environment (air, soap, clothing, sun, etc.). The glans dries out and develops several extra layers of skin (keratinization).1 Compare the dry, cracked appearance of the glans of a circumcised penis (upper right) with the moist mucosal end of the glans of an intact penis (lower right). The unnatural dryness of the circumcised penis can cause abrasion and bleeding during sex, whereas the moistness of the intact penis makes sex more comfortable, especially during penetration. For women with circumcised male partners, the problem of 'vaginal dryness' during sex may also be partly attributable to the unnatural dryness of the circumcised penis.
Besides removing the densely nerve-laden foreskin, circumcision removes 50% of the penile shaft skin and associated nerve endings.2 The exposed glans then keratinizes, causing further loss of sensation. Many circumcised men in the Awakenings survey3 reported that desensitization caused them to abandon or bypass the subtler pleasures of genital foreplay in favor of immediate intercourse, which would offer them greater stimulation. They often hurried through intercourse, however  often needing extraordinary and sometimes violent thrusting  to obtain sufficient stimulation for both pleasure and orgasm. Other men reported frequent reliance on behaviors offering more stimulation than vaginal sex (e.g., oral sex, anal sex or masturbation) or compensating for diminished quality of sexual response with quantity (sexual compulsivity).
Eventually, keratinization occurs even after adult circumcision. It can also occur in intact men with short foreskins or those who habitually wear their foreskin in the retracted position.
Imagine how different female sexual response would be if the clitoral hood (female foreskin) and the labia were removed. Exposure of the clitoris to the constant effects of the outer environment would approximate the effects of male circumcision.

NOTE: Non-surgical foreskin restoration methods (uncircumcision) have helped circumcised men
to regain skin mobility and to reverse some of the effects of keratinization.
These methods are explained in The Joy of Uncircumcising!.

Circumcision Damage - Missing Frenulum (36 KB)
TopOfPage.gif (184 bytes)
Missing frenulumThe frenulum is a web of tissue connecting the foreskin to the underside of the glans (similar to the frenulum under the tongue or the upper lip). The penile frenulum is densely nerve-laden and is described as a male 'G-spot'  a very erogenous part of the penis.4 Circumcision often destroys the frenulum. Left: Circumcised penis with no frenulum. Right: Intact penis with retracted foreskin and an intact frenulum.

Skin bridge(s)A skin bridge is tissue connecting the coronal ridge of the glans to the shaft of the penis. During erection and/or sexual activity, bridges can pull on the glans and be painful. A man can have one or several skin bridges of various lengths and widths. Some are flush with the penile surface, while others actually create a loop of skin through which one can insert a pencil. Skin bridges are a complication of infant circumcision and do not occur in adult circumcision, because infant circumcision requires the forced separation of the foreskin and glans. (Natural separation occurs between infancy and age 18.) Removing an infant's foreskin prior to its natural separation results in an exposed and raw glans, the coronal ridge of which can fuse with the raw skin edges of the penile shaft where the foreskin was cut. This fused tissue is what causes the bridge effect.

Circumcision Damage - Skin Tone Variance (26 KB)
Pigmentation variationsThe pigmentation of the epidermal tissue of the penile shaft is often different from that of the mucosal tissue of the glans and inner foreskin. In the intact penis, only the epidermal tissue of the penile shaft and outer foreskin are visible. The pigmentation of this tissue is usually consistent. Only when the foreskin is retracted, and the glans is exposed, does any pigmentation difference become noticeable.
In a circumcised penis, any difference in pigmentation (between the epidermal tissue and that of the mucosal tissue of the glans and remaining inner foreskin) is readily and permanently visible. Stark contrasts in skin tone can be a source of embarrassment and self-esteem issues for some circumcised males.

Circumcision Damage - Gouges in Glans (25 KB)
Gouges/missing portions of the glansSeparation of the foreskin from the glans occurs naturally between birth and age 18, which is why forcible separation is not required for adult circumcision. Infant circumcision involves the forced separation of these structures, which can tear portions of the glans that are tightly adhered to the foreskin. Also, some circumcision devices (e.g., Sheldon clamp) can sever all or part of the glans, or fail to shield the glans from the scalpel used to remove the foreskin.

Other circumcision-related damage may include:
Meatal stenosis: The normal meatus (urinary opening) in an intact penis is a long slit. When the infant's penis is deprived of its protective foreskin, the meatus can become ulcerated (irritated) by urine, feces and abrasion from diapers. Ulceration can lead to stenosis (narrowing) of the meatus. If the stenosis is severe and impedes urination, a boy may need a meatotomy (surgical reopening of the meatus).
Bowing/curvature of the penis: Uneven removal of tissue during circumcision can cause skin to be tighter on one side of the penis than the other. Bowing or curvature during erection can result. Curvatures can also be congenital (from birth) or the result of Peyronie's Disease.
Skin tags: These are portions of the foreskin that remain after an uneven circumcision.
Hemorrhage, infection, penile amputation, gender reassignment and death are other self-evident forms of damage.
